Dear Parents and Guardians:

We would like to invite you to participate in a MAP/PARCC Parent Information Night on December 12, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the BMMS Media Center.  This is an opportunity for parents to learn more about the College and Career Readiness Assessments (MAP/PARCC) students take in middle school.  We will also share our School Improvement Data and school-wide initiatives for improvement.  Parents, you will also learn how to support your child’s success on these state assessments.  We want to make sure parents fully understand how both assessments are used to determine student performance and college and career readiness for high school.

Here at BMMS, the success of our students is important to us; we want our parents to be knowledgeable about the assessment process in order to make informed decisions about their child’s academic achievement.
