Cooperation Needed - Scoop the Poop
Please help us maintain a clean and healthy school environment by not walking your dog on Burleigh Manor Middle School property. In the words of the Maryland Department of the Environment, “Scoop the Poop. Every Stinkin’ Time.” Almost every day our custodial staff is greeted to dog feces on the blacktop. Students utilize this space to eat and play during their lunch period and during PE. Please spread the word that we would prefer people did not walk their dogs on school property. Thank you.

Student Absences
Please report all student absences to:  BMMSabsence@hcpss.org
If we receive an email stating the student absence the parent does not need to send in a note when the student returns.

Update Your Family File!
Thank you to the 97% of Burleigh Manor families who have updated their Family File! We are almost there, but we need to get to 100%. This is an essential task for every family and must be completed each year. The school needs to have current contact information in case we need to get in touch with you. If you need to update yours, please read more here.

Meals
School breakfast and lunch will be served in the cafeteria at no cost to students through the entire 2021-2022 school year, any day that schools are open. All meal service will be grab and go, with no self-service or a la carte items offered. However, students will have more meal choices than were available last year, and a faster meal service process has been designed to reduce the time spent in meal lines.
