Saturday April 21st, 10am-1pm
The Burleigh Manor Maker Faire is an open house event for our students and their families. Come join us for a morning of making and learning. There will be activities for students of all ages with a special focus on the family. Our facilitators are community members, teachers, and students. Lunch will be sold by the PTA. For more info, visit our website.
This is a free ticketed event. Registering your family will help us plan our activities and for food sales. Register Now!
There are a number of ways students and families can get involved:
We are ISO families interested in "sponsoring" an activity. Sponsoring would entail coming up with an activity plan (preferably "make & take" activity), sponsoring the cost of the activity for approximately 100 people, and being in the room to assist attendees with your activity. If your family is interested in sponsoring an activity, please complete this form by March 2nd; we are limited to 5 family sponsored activities. Families will be contacted by March 9th. Our selection process will be based on offering a variety of activities for families attending the event.
We are ISO donations of specific supplies for already planned activities. Please see our sign-up genius for a list of materials we need. All supplies should be labeled "Maker Faire" and dropped off in the Media Center by April 6th.
We are ISO parent volunteers to help with food sales. Please contact Pam Abrams if you can help.
We are ISO student volunteers to help with day of set up, clean up, guest check-in, directions, etc. Students wishing to volunteer must sign up in GAFE and turn in a permission slip. Hard copies of the permission form can be found in the Media Center.
We look forward to hosting our community for this event. If you have any questions please be sure to visit the details section of our website or contact Geordie Paulus at email@example.com or Barb Randolph at firstname.lastname@example.org.
