What is Burleigh Manor?
Burleigh Manor is a middle school located in Ellicott City, the county seat of Howard County, Maryland. BMMS is home to over 600 students. We proudly believe that each year has seen BMMS improve in some significant way.
Where is Burleigh Manor?
Visitors can reach Burleigh Manor from Baltimore or Washington, D.C. via I-95. From Baltimore, travel south on I- 95 to Rt. 100. Exit westbound heading for Ellicott City. Exit 100 onto southbound Rt. 29. Take the first exit, heading west on Rt. 108. Turn right at the third light onto Centennial Lane. Burleigh Manor is approximately a mile up the road, the second school on the left.
From Washington, follow I-95 northbound. Exit at 100 and follow the same directions.

What makes Burleigh Manor special?
First of all, it is our home. For ten months of the year we collaborate to make it a comfortable place to learn and work. These efforts have yielded dividends in the form of academic achievement. As a feeder school for Centennial High School and Marriotts Ridge High School, we participate in the preparation of students ranked among Maryland's best and brightest. Our 8th grade students continually perform at or near the excellent level on the state sponsored MSA tests. As a school, we will continue to pursue excellence today, tomorrow, and into the future.
